MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT



Membership Policies

We have designed these policies in order to give you the best possible membership experience, and to allow us to efficiently and effectively administer all of your memberships. 


We reserve the right to update these policies at any time. The term “membership” includes all classes and training we offer at Freedom Athletic Academy. 



Membership and Private Training Sessions

  1. All memberships and private training sessions are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-transferrable. 
  2. All training sessions must be paid in advance and in full. This is for private training sessions and Foundations. 
  3. If you fail to attend a private training session, you will be charged for that missed session. 
  4. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes and private training sessions to accommodate holidays or special events.


Punchcards

  1. Members may purchase a punch card if they wish. It is for 10 classes and it expires after two months.



Monthly Recurring Memberships

  1. Memberships begin on the day you sign up. 
  2. Monthly memberships renew on the same day of the month as your sign up date (ex. if you sign up on the 11th, you'll be billed on the 11th) 
  3. All memberships will auto-renew unless you have specifically arranged with us to terminate it or put your account on hold. 
  4. Failure to attend class does not relieve you of the obligation to pay for your membership. 
  5. CASH PAYMENTS

—For a member who wants to pay cash, it is due on the date Freedom and the member agree upon, but a credit card must be kept on file.  If the date falls on a weekend, the money is due on the Friday before. If the gym does not receive payment on or before the specific date, the credit card will be charged.

6. Cancellation Policy/Hold Policy

— Freedom memberships with recurring dues may be cancelled at any time. You can do this through Email at freedomathleticacademy@gmail.com This must be done at least 5 days prior to your renewal date. 

*There are options available to you other than cancelling your membership.  Another option is to suspend (‘freeze”) your membership for a fee of $10 per month. This is a good alternative if you are not planning to use the membership for more than 30 days: medical issue, gone for the summer, etc. 

**When you want to start coming  again, you can simply “unfreeze” without: 1. paying an initiation fee ($25), and 2. Maintaining your current membership rate (currently our rate is $165/month). 

***When you are ready to come back to Freedom and we “unfreeze”, you will start to be billed on the date you come back.

****If you are on a married couple membership and one of you freezes, the other membership will go up to the non-discounted price. 



Past Due Payments/What happens if your card doesn't go through 

  1. We understand that cards are often lost, stolen, or expire, and a charge may be declined. We ask that in this case you provide us with updated billing information in a timely manner, which we define as within 1 WEEK. 
  2. Payments more than two weeks past due will be subject to a $25 late fee.
